Education in Palliative and End-of-life Care (EPEC) Program

The Education in Palliative and End-of-life Care (EPEC) Program provides training in this specialized care to a variety of healthcare professionals working with patients at the end of their life. The curriculum offers a path to develop fundamental palliative care skills in communication, ethical decision making, psychosocial considerations, and symptom management.

The EPEC curriculum can be taught in its entirety or in parts, and has been tailored to a number of medical specialties and specific patient populations.
