Third-year students, once a month, Friday 2:20-3:20 pm, July to June. This unit examines the ethical, legal, and social elements in difficult clinical cases. With the assistance of outside consultants (such as lawyers, ethicists, and social workers) students discuss a videotaped case of a Northwestern University physician discussing a case that raised serious non-medical issues.
The unit director is Tod Chambers, PhD (t-chambers@northwestern.edu, 312-503-0412). | |
