About
The Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine has a 25-year history of interdisciplinary research and teaching at every level of medical education. Begun as a way of encouraging reflection on values issues in medicine, the center has expanded to promote and support interdisciplinary work in bioethics, the medical humanities, and the values-oriented social sciences.

To advance bioethics and medical humanities in the modern, diverse, expanding healthcare environment through education, application, innovation, and thought leadership.

To lead local, national, and global efforts in bioethics and medical humanities that improve healthcare education, delivery, research, and scholarship.
