Biography

Rebecca Brashler is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Feinberg School of Medicine. She holds a secondary appointment in the Medical Humanities and Bioethics Progam and is the director of Global Patient Services at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Rebecca is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration.

Rebecca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and her clinical focus has been on family functioning following catastrophic injury and illness with a particular interest in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. She helped establish the resource center at the Donnelley Ethics Program which houses books, videos, and journals related to disability ethics, and remains available to the Northwestern community through the Galter Library catalogue. She also provides Ethics Consultation at the Donnelley Ethics Program at RIC.
